Normally, ovulation/fertility should take place on the 14th day from the beginning of a woman’s monthly cycle. However, wide variations exist in many women’s menstrual cycle. Over the past several decades, it has become more evident that the period of ovulation/fertility frequently varies from 23 to 35 days). Variation can be caused by many things including smoking, stress and nutrition, all of which provoke an alteration in the production of the hormones regulating the endocrine system of the human body.
Based upon studies over
the past several decades, and refinement in testing techniques, scientists have
verified a direct correlation between the increase of estrogen and the five
fertile days of a woman’s cycle identified above. Estrogen is present in bodily
fluids such as urine, blood, saliva and vaginal mucous. The effectiveness of the
DONNA mini-microscope is based upon the scientific discovery that the estrogen
level in saliva, in combination with bodily salts found in such saliva, when
permitted to dry and viewed through the DONNA mini-microscope, produces the
varying images shown in this brochure.
This discovery led to the invention of the DONNA mini-microscope Fertility Tester. The correlation between the images shown in this brochure and effective fertility/ovulation (determined through ultrasonography with trans-vaginal sound of the ovaries and in particular of the follicle) has been established in 98% of the cases under examination by a clinical test carried out on 328 woman by the University of Rome “La Sapienza”, utilising the DONNA mini-microscope Fertility Tester.
The use of the DONNA Mini-Microscope Fertility Tester makes it possible to more accurately know your fertile/ovulation days as opposed to your infertile/non-ovulation days and allows you to:

ADVANTAGES OF THE DONNA MINI-MICROSCOPE FERTILITY TESTER
The DONNA Saliva Ovulation Tester allows a practically unlimited number of tests with an average duration of 24 months. It does not require reagents. Before each test, the only thing to remember is to clean the slide of the optic assembly.
The purpose of the donna mini-microscope is to aid in determining days of ovulation/fertility.the manufacturer and distributor are not responsible for incorrect interpretations or inaccuracy of test results.
No possibility to conceive
Conception possible only during the pre-ovulating days but, reduced to 20-30%
High possibility to conceive
Shapeless dotted structures
ONE-THREE DAYS PRE-
AND POST FERTILE/
Small fern-like patterns within dotted structures
Fern-like structures covering a portion of, or the entire field
During your cycle when not ovulating, you will see no pattern. What you may see are random, very tiny black spots and some dried saliva rings in the yellow field.
As you get closer to the beginning of your ovulating time (1-3 days prior), you are looking to see short 1/4” (inch) lines the thickness of a hair. There can be several or simply just a few of these hair-like structures. The quantity is not as important as is the presence of them.
This means that you will start to ovulate anytime within the next 1-3 days. We advise you to now continue to use the DONNA at least 2x (times) per day.
SECOND step: At this point you are now looking to see those short lines growing longer into “eyelash” length, hair-like structures some with split ends and multiplying. This means that you have now started your ovulation cycle.
We continue to advise you to use the DONNA at least 2x (times) per day.
THIRD step: At this point you are now looking to see those “eyelash” hair-like structures to have multiplied and have overlapped each other in the yellow light field. Here is where the salts in your body, due to the heighten level of your estrogen, crystallise and form patterns known as “ferning” or “crystallisation”.
The patterns may take different shapes, i.e.: veins in a leaf, snowflakes, spider’s web and even frost on a window pane.
This means that you have now reached the most fertile time in your ovulation cycle.
The DONNA, if used to avoid an undesired pregnancy, with its 98% efficacy rate, is much more reliable than almost all existing contraceptive products and methods:
Condom 92% - I.U.D. 90% - Diaphragm 85% - Basal Temperature 80% - Ogino-Knaus 60%
Only the oral contraceptives (“the pill”) are more effective (close to 99%) to prevent an undesired pregnancy, but cause serious side effects: cervix cancer, water retention, vaginal infection, high blood pressure, severed headaches and depression.
Please note that a complete cycle may vary dramatically. It is not uncommon for women to ovulate on: Day 21; Day 25: Day 30. Irregular cycles are very common. User should not take any decision of medical relevance without first consulting her medical practitioner.
